Job Description

You will join a department with a lot of experience and expertise that is growing and needs more colleagues. Our department supports the entire GKN operation in the military, space, and civil sectors. We are looking for someone who values quality, clarity, and structure. Being able to work in a team is one of the cornerstones, and we are therefore looking for a person with good collaboration skills. While the work requires clear frameworks and rules, we are also looking for someone who is open to new ideas as we will develop new ways of working to meet future business and opportunities.

As a Configuration Manager, you will be primarily responsible for driving and supporting one or more of the company's projects with configuration management, i.e., planning, development, production, delivery, and changes to our products. You will ensure that product data is complete, updated in the configuration management system, and traceable throughout the product lifecycle. The role is central and important for our projects and products to meet the requirements for order and clarity of safety-critical products in the industry we operate in. Product data is used in relationships with various customers both internally and externally. Collaboration with other departments and partners in areas such as manufacturing, product development, customers, and suppliers is crucial.

In the role of driving manager, no case is like the other. While we work in controlled processes, we constantly need to address new challenges and be solution-oriented. You will work in a wonderful team with exciting and advanced products that make a difference.

Qualifications

  • Academic bachelor's degree, higher education studies, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
  • Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • Experience in configuration or quality
  • Knowledge of PLM tools such as SAP and/or Teamcenter
  • Office Suite
